I was already teaching in the district when I helped open our high school in 1991. Along with the other subjects that I teach, I've been a Home B.A.S.E. teacher since the program's inception eight years ago.<br /><br />I am an avid bicyclist having ridden across the United States, in other parts of this country, and in England and France. I also sail a Hobie Cat 18' and an ice sailboat in the winter that I built in 1996 with our Home B.A.S.E. English teacher, Mr. Buford.<br /><br />I believe in teaching in learning communities such as Home B.A.S.E.
